    Wonderful burgers! Excellent home cut fries! Make sure you leave room for the peanut butter sundae!

    Went with posted reviews when driving through Dodson and stopped to try this cute little Cafe out.  (It is  - right off the roadside).  They advertise that they're "Home of the Famous Dodson Burger" and I have to admit, they are really good!  It was "All You Can Eat Fish Friday" and that's what the hubby ordered.  He said that the fish was really, really good and the portion size is very generous.  The onion rings, that were ordered with the burger, were so-so.  The outside was more done than the inside (fryer too hot?) with the inside being doughy.  The seasoning on the curly fries was a nice change.  Since I do not eat fish/seafood, I was pleasantly pleased that there wasn't any cross taste/flavor with the fries/onion rings and the fish.  Will keep Dodson Roadside Cafe on our list of restaurants while traveling in the area.  Now to hit up the "Creamery" section of the Cafe!!!!

    Oh.... and if you are lucky enough... the cooks and waiters are quite entertaining.

    This little place is amazing! If you like fish don't miss it! I had the special which was angel hair pasta with shrimp and it was so delicious I almost fell out of my chair! A bases-loaded home run! If you're in Winnfield take the drive North to Dodson. It will be well worth the short drive.

    Road motorcycles from Shreveport to this great place today and had a wonderful lunch. Burger was fantastic and the service and everyone working there was top notch. Will be getting our riding group to make a road trip here soon.
